Sharing clean waves with him and Iboo and the Byron crew at Pasta Point is one of my sweetest surf memories. He had a Ferrari sticker on his red 8ft pintail board.. and we made fun of italians all the time. at 50+ of age he was a stoked kid. His surf tales of perfect Honkys, terrible reef cuts and life with the Maldivians, were the stuff legends are made of. Thanks for sharing them with us TonyAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5415683848045698475.post-80383263079294944882008-05-31T07:25:00.000+02:002008-05-31T07:25:00.000+02:00Indeed, Tony Hussein died the other day. They took him out of the water when he was unconcious and took him to the hospital where he died apparently. Very very tragic.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5415683848045698475.post-31147829236400603862008-05-30T22:46:00.000+02:002008-05-30T22:46:00.000+02:00I'm so shocked at this news.
